Not as bad as a Stinky Wet Dog though

After the stupid dog decided the cat flap was a good idea even though it's behind wouldn't fit through the hole. We now have a slightly larger Dog Flap which means it can now charge into the Garden and bark at that sound it thinks it has just heard (It's getting on now going a bit deaf and slightly cateracty) at 3am in the morning - the neighbours love us wink

Damp Dog you can't beat it laughing

When the sad day arrives.... You could consider a Samoyed.
They don't have a doggy smell when they're wet!! Kind of a cross between a bear and a sheep smile

You might get to hate 20 - 30 minutes grooming every day and the 80Km/week that you'll need to walk for exercise, but definitely no doggy pong.laughing

Cheers. ozylynx smile

Re: cryingI hate it when.....laughing

No exercise this end required we have a black Cocker Spaniel rug.

Some days she goes up to the door way takes a look out and thinks "Tomorrow will do - no rush" laughing

Just to put the record straight because she wold be appalled if she thought the whole world thought she's stinky. Penny is normally a sweet smelling dog.

If you say "Poo something stinks around here" even when she doesn't, she looks all forlorn and take herself off to her basket biggrin

Man we are cruel to that dog

PS
if any of you Dogs have terouble with the HolyDays....
A Dog's Rules for Christmas

1. Be especially patient with your humans during this time. They may appear to be more stressed-out than usual and they will appreciate long comforting dog leans.
2. They may come home with large bags of things they call gifts. Do not assume that all the gifts are yours.
3. Be tolerant if your humans put decorations on you. They seem to get some special kind of pleasure out of seeing how you look with fake antlers.
4. They may bring a large tree into the house and set it up in a prominent place and cover it with lights and decorations. Bizarre as this may seem to you, it is an important ritual for your humans, so there are some things you need to know:
a. Don't pee on the tree
b. Don't drink water in the container that holds the tree
c. Mind your tail when you are near the tree
d. If there are packages under the tree, even ones that smell interesting or that have your name on them, don't rip them open
e. Don't chew on the cord that runs from the funny-looking hole in the wall to the tree
5. Your humans may occasionally invite lots of strangers to come visit during this season. These parties can be lots of fun, but they also call for some discretion on your part:
a. Not all strangers appreciate kisses and leans
b. Don't eat off the buffet table
c. Beg for goodies subtly
d. Be pleasant, even if unknowing strangers sit on your sofa
e. Don't drink out of glasses that are left within your reach
6. Likewise, your humans may take you visiting. Here your manners will also be important:
a. Observe all the rules in #4 for trees that may be in other people's houses. (4a is particularly important)
b. Respect the territory of other animals that may live in the house
c. Tolerate children
d. Turn on your charm big time
7. A big man with a white beard and a very loud laugh may emerge from your fireplace in the middle of the night. DO NOT BITE HIM!!

Why did i have an association with Ferris Buler's Day Off ..... something about the size of a Dog flap maybe biggrin

I love cats, not..... the neighbors 3 P up our garden, stink up the porch entrance and kill the song birds which are already a rare feature in the Italian landscape.

ciao

OK so I waited and waited!
He is not too inclined to get caught in the rain!
When he did he was dry before I got the Camera up...
Even then he simply would not pose. Sighs.
So I petted and petted and petted him into submission for this shot..

Robby our latest Ginger one has just been wandering across my keyboard and trying to catch the cursor with her paw. We just call her the Ginger Fling she has another name but I forget what it is now she's just Fling. The only grubby cat we have (out of 5!) so far she has managed to catch just earth worms and she has a fetish for Autumn Leaves bringing them in and despositing them before you with great pride.

Looks like I've finally been adopted by one of our cats

Night all
