Once u reach 50 posts u will be able to edit your prose. I thought that anyone could edit their own post by clicking on the pen icon in the upper-left corner of the title section. |

Ah,
That's helpful Lawrence. I've often wondered how one goes about editing a post. I hadn't noticed that little pen lurking at top left! David. |

isn't a few weeks into the project a bit early to ask "are we done yet"...? He/she wasn't asking that and your response is beneath someone who is involved in this project, in my opinion. Surely you could have posted something more useful than this? ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by teletran at Nov 12, 2006 6:30:54 PM] |

oops, my tone was a bit to quick ... i didn't mean to start a fight or confusion.
----------------------------------------i wasn't trying to imply that replying was below me OR not important, only that early into the project we won't have anything to report about progress.... we can say 2% more this week or 5% more this week, but it generally isn't something we even track that carefully until we get a bit more into the project. It takes a few week for us to get data enough to answer with any fidelity. sorry if my tone was missread. i meant only that there is no interesting answer in the begining... this is the nature of these largest calculations (and there for slowest calculations). thanks again for crunching... more soon. Appreciate the clarification. Tone is easy to misinterpret when all we have is text :)
----------------------------------------My point was that the poster may not have known it was only a few weeks into the project, but it doesn't matter. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by teletran at Nov 14, 2006 3:22:40 AM] |
