ozylynx, in the previous round of beta testing, when the AMD/Intel problem was identified, some work units were paused part way through, without enough results agreeing for a quorum. Because the results returned already were probably a mix of AMD and Intel, it is really a matter of luck whether the final verdict is valid or invalid when the beta was restarted with a new version.

It may have been wiser for WCG to award credit for all the messed up beta work that had been done, and start fresh with new work units for the new version. However, that's not what happened, as far as I know.
