Out of the blue, kind of a shock.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Anyone here get any of the new DDDT2 work units?
I'm getting the "no work available..." message.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I tried but they were gobbled up real quick. Guess we will have to wait for the spawned WU's. Curious if they were OS specific. Tried with my mac and got zero. I was in the process of installing ubuntu on the pc when it was anounced so lost out there too.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

i thought it was about time to chime in... i got 7 of them and the 2 that i can see are running on an athlon II x4 620 and headed for about 50 hours each.

i did get one on an old p3 1.3 and it will be interesting to see how that one turns out. it is dual proc with 1 gig of ram.

if it all works out i should get a badge from the first group.

Glad we could hear from you. You are putting up some numbers. Is that old P3 a server ? !.3ghz and dual processor was a high end P3 in its time.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Not sure if folks aren't crunching that much or my 2 octo's are doing that good. Current rank in WCG is 997. First time ever under 1000.

I still have not got a single DDD2 yet. I have the box checked. It may be that the return time is less than 5 days. I travel a lot so I keep by Queue at 5 days in case somehting goes wrong with my network while I am out of town, I can still do work.

Can some tell me what the number of days to return DDDT2 is for ones they have in process?
