Re: The PCReview Crew II Needs You! cool

Wowee V_R shock I can almost hear the crackle of static electricity from here tongue Sounds great though. As a matter of interest, what sort of temps does it register on the inside? (Sorry to be a bit temp fixated lately, but I'd be interested to know.) Do you find much of a difference when the ambient temps are high?

Temps are fine, case is average of 34, goes up to 38 when gaming. At the mo with the warm weather they are a little higher than normal. CPU sits at 38-40, going up to 42-44 when the graphics card warms up, if i remember right. (sorry i'm at work, cant remember exactly) The 8800 is the warmest bit, that idles at 55 (Is clocked quite high.) and it will hit 65 when playing games. But the Antec 900 case has really good airflow so the temps drop back to normal in a couple of minutes. smile

Its the hot air that the thing kicks out thats the problem! laughing

Hi there everyone - V_R apologies for taking so long to acknowledge your answer (had to spend a couple of days in "sick bay" with a bad migraine attack sick ) Those temps sound very good though - does overclocking always result in temps being lowered? Or have I misunderstood thinking it is something which has always puzzled me a bit.

It is so cloudy and dark here this evening, that we've had to switch on the lights - it's not 7 pm yet! Looks like a storm is on the way. Hope none of you are having to paddle where you are? Some very bad flash floods around the country recently.

Evening Ady and everyone hugs yes, it has been wet here today too, but the sun broke through late afternoon, and lasted throughout the evening. Hope none of you has suffered any flooding? It looks as if it was quite bad in some areas of the country. sad

It's the witching-hour, I will be turning into a pumpkin pumpkin if I don't get off to bed, so one last cuppa coffee and night-night sleep see you all tomorrow smile

Re: The PCReview Crew II Needs You! cool

Hi there Ady and Crew, a rather wet midsummer's day here - it might be the longest day, but it is so dark here this evening, that we had to light-up very early again worried but never mind, it's still good crunching conditions dancing
