Re: Loooking for UDom

U'r Loooking in the wrong section mate, but search for posts with "UD monitor" in it. U could also switch to BOINC agent, which has the work-cache feature build in.....just tell it how much work u like to buffer.

Edit: Personally i would not dabble with UD Monitor unless u can't avoid it, as it will require the registration of a new device for each buffer-slot u add to it. BOINC operates as 1 device. Still till today I'm lumbered with 10 devices, consequently meaningless by-device statistics (Retsof still got 110 ;>).

ciao

You are looking for UD Monitor (UDMon). However, if you need to cache a few work units, I suggest you try BOINC instead.

Re: Loooking for UDom

Nobody is dead set per se against UD mon i think....it's just that once u start looking at your device statistics, u see your scores spread over as many devices as u have set the slot #s at in UD Mon. Once a device is created, it will be there forever. They disappear from immediate horizon after 14 of non-use, but that's all they do.

On a next release of WCG Webstats, these idle devices may disappear permanently or device merges might become an option. There's more reasons why old machines are still there which has to do with record keeping.
