sad Invalid signature error at UL after successful crunching

I just finished a WU of FAAH obviously successful, but was unable to UL it without an error. What went wrong?

[Edit]
I just saw, I got the same messages from Docking and Malaria, but there the results ULed nevertheless successful. Einstein behaved just like WCG. Can anyone explain this to me? I'm totally lost.

What is this signature?
Where is it generated?
How can it get corrupted?
Is it part of BOINC or part of the application?[/Edit]

As I dunno how to link to a result here in this strange setup, I post the info here:

Here's the messages from BOINC:

Re: Invalid signature error at UL after successful crunching

The signatures are kept in the client_state.xml file in the BOINC folder, 1 signature for each active WU. I believe BOINC generates the signatures.

If you open client_state.xml in a text editor and search for the names of active WUs on your machine you will find the signature for each. I think only active WUs are assigned signatures, that is WUs that you have started to crunch. (WUs in the cache are not necessarily active so some WUs in the cache may not have a signature.)

It appears that 4 signatures got corrupted. That's 3 too many to attribute to bad luck or mere chance. The signatures are generated, I believe, from a hashing rule that uses your email address, CPID and other inputs that I am not certain of. If your email address or CPID has changed or been corrrupted or does not agree with the servers' version of your email address/CPID/other inputs then the hashing rule would generate a signature that the servers' regard as invalid. Another possibility (and it is a very unlikely possibility) is that 1 or more bytes in the function (in boinc.exe) that hashes the inputs and generates the signature has become corrupted. If that is the case, and I am not sure it is, then you would need to delete boinc.exe and copy a fresh boinc.exe into the BOINC folder.
