Re: Crunching for all projects

The Human Proteome Folding Phase 2 project is currently on hiatus. You won't get any work for that project until it is resumed.

The Help Defeat Cancer project doesn't always have work available for everybody. Priority is given to those people who have selected to run only Help Defeat Cancer.

So, don't worry about what projects you run. Leave them all selected, and the WCG scheduler will balance things out to the best advantage.

Re: Crunching for all projects

You may want to double check the system requirements for HDC. It requires a lot more memory than FAAH. That could be why you don't get any.

Re: Crunching for all projects

Since you said that your computer will download HDC's if you select that project only, we can assume you meet the minimum memory requirement of 768MB.

The ratio between FAAH ahd HDC work units sent out is something like 8:1 so yes, you may rarely see a HDC unit download to your computer. Plus they complete much faster than FAAH so they can pass through your computer in a matter of a couple hours. You may have to check you results history to see them.
