Running BOINC on a standalone PC

Further to this thread about running UD.exe on a standalone computer using UDMon.exe, is there a way of running BOINC on a Linux box that is not connected to the Internet?

Thanks

Ted

Re: Running BOINC on a standalone PC

People have reported both success and failure when trying to do this. I suppose it depends on how it's done. It's not easy, though. You should only try this as a last resort.

There is a detailed discussion of how you might do it here. Let us know how you get on.
