You don't need to do this. Accounts are not deleted, because it would cause anomalies in the statistics.

Hello........
It appears that you cannot delete user accounts for stats purposes. However I request that you delete my forum account as it appears that my account has been compromised. Had an email re my password etc when I never requested any such thing....in fact I haven't visited here for some time. I don't want some provocateur posting crap using my account so delete it please. *Perfectly capable of posting my own crap  *I shall create a new forum account if I feel the need to do so. Thank you. Forum accounts are the same as your crunching account.
If you got an email, then it is possible someone was trying to compromise your account, but since the password is only sent to your registered email address, nobody can compromise your account unless they have already compromised your email account. You can change your "forgot password" settings here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/login/viewRecoveryOption.do - you can have it emailed or you can set a challenge question. If you are worried about your account security, then you can always change your password. Choose a secure password, using at least 8 characters in a random mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. There are password generators that will generate a completely random password for you if your imagination fails you. |
