Is the project in hibernation at the moment? For the last couple of days I don't get the screen saver when my pc switches it on. None of the other projects are popping up either.

FightAIDS@Home is running fine.
Take a look at your computer setup to see if it's running properly. Is there an entry in your Startup menu? Is there an icon in the notification area? If all else fails, check the Task Manager. If you have damaged your installation somehow, you may need to reinstall it. On the other hand, it may be simply that you have changed your screensaver to something else. Switch it back to WCG. |

There is no icon in my startup menue but I have an icon for the program in the right hand bottom corner of the screen. I don't have any other screensaver running.
In the task manager I cant find the program running, but not sure what name it goes under. I have recently reinstalled the program after trying boinc and it seemed to work fine. Will try to re nstal it again. |

I have reinstalled it now and the problem persists. I have checked that I have the right screen saver running and that is also ok. The preference window says that I have no task running and on the bottom right part it says screen saver not running. task execution paused. The task manager sees the grid agent.

Has the screen saver option become un-ticked in the
---------------------------------------- screen of UD Agent? Try unticking it and hit apply and see if a task starts...it should.

Have you checked to insure you haven't uncheced all of the boxes in the research field. That would get you no research.
