Re: Ya Mon!!

Thing is, that diabetes has just been linked to Alzheimer with great certainty...... with 40 million severely overweight US citizens walking around, all potential diabetes 2 patients, a lot more needs to be grown....... maybe finally they will become a happy nation ..... or they can all move to crowded Netherlands ;>)

Re: Ya Mon!!

The only thing that would help there is about 2 million series of "Survivor Arctic Circle" all running at the same time... perhaps January? devilish

Cheers. ozylynx

(edit): I remind you of my Dutch Rellies. I've eaten Dutch food and that isn't going to help these people.... biggrin

Re: Ya Mon!!

No idea whether u ate with your Dutch rellies that live in the US or in the Lowlands..... Dutch kitchen after Italian is considered the healthiest in the world. Least overweight "western culture" populations are also in these 2 countries...... i get to get both on intermittent basis ;>)

Re: Ya Mon!!

It was a long time ago now Sek.

My most enduring memory though is learning to eat fried pastry balls full of thickened whipped cream without making too much mess!! smile

Re: Ya Mon!!

...not sure what whipped cream filled fried pastry balls are....if it is what is think it is, the politically correct forced the pastry makers to change the name after 175 years tradition..... or could it be roomsoes? The former is covered in pure chocolate icing (now David Autumns, if u read this and get a hold of some, put the buckle 2 notches up on the binge position :>).

All in excess measure is guaranteed to turn the average into a latent diabetic 2......and then they forget they have it! Here a picture of the future generation to go thru the 4 phases:
Clinton wins crackdown on school junk food
(fortunately, this is rarely available on Italian schools)
