You can click on each unvalidated work unit in your results pending queue and see its status. When I click on one of mine, it typically shows that one or two different computers has processed the unit and it is waiting on someone else to complete.
----------------------------------------I generally have 6 pages (about 80-90) units in "pending validation". I suspect that this is because I do not download work units until am ready to run them (or almost ready). This I do by setting "Connect to network about every .333 days" (A luxury that those of us with a broadband connection have). Others that connect less frequently typically have small "pending validation" queues because when they finish a unit, they are often the final one of the quorum of three. Kind Regards and Thank You for contributing. |

That still does not give me any details as to why..........the information is the same as WUs that have been approved. Jo jo - I just dug through your records and everything looks completely normal. You just happen to have two very nice computers and you keep your cache low so you return your results quickly. The deadline for returning workunits is a week. This means that the other people who have results for your workunit may not return results until 7 days have elasped. In reality the vast majority are returned within four days. Your oldest unvalidated result has only been returned for three days with most returned in the last 36 hours. |

Thanks....yes.....my slow computer is a slow old P4 3.06 which only cranks out about 4 units per day. My new hot rod I built two months ago is Dual core X2 5000 overclocked 250mhz and water cooled. It cranks out 10 to 12 units per day. 2 gigs of Corsair extreme SLI also seem to help. Drives are Raptors in Raid 0. Jo Jo
