When do you get credit for boinc?

Hi everyone:)

I'm trying out boinc to do FightAIDS@Home. How often are credits updated when you use boinc? I had 2 WU done this morning and in the task tab the status said ready to be sent or something like that. So I clicked the Project tab and clicked on the Update button. Its almost 8 hours later and the Work done still says 0.00. I hope I didnt mess up :( Please help.

You get credit once a work unit has been validated. It will appear in your score when the statistics update. This happens 4 times a day (once for team statistics).

Hello qafdemo,
Go to 'My Grid' - 'Device Manager' - 'Results Status' to see what you have returned to the server from BOINC. Click on the name of a result to see how the other copies of that work unit are doing. Once a quorum validates ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=6105 ) your result, you will be awarded points. It can be a slow process.
