![]() ![]() I've posted to a few MSG boards. But none where I had complete control. Then as Here I watched quite a few threads go awry as hostile or off topic posts filled the thread. I think the ability of the Thread Author to delete a post is necessary for the control of a thread. In the past Moderators seemed only to go for the extreme cases of abuse and let the arbitrations of the rest occur according to their own belief systems. Offering a way to deal with these issues such as tagging "Evil" posts by "alert"? Another button for signed on Thread Authors? (You know "Report Stupid Post") Or even the ability to activate a little public voting bar on the bottom bar "Kill post!... or not" (LOL) would help stem the tide of droolers... HAY! It could happen! ![]() Robert |
