Can someone tell me the precise URL needed to have WCG running in BOINC? |

Okay thanks.
The problem for me is that when I enter that URL and fill in username and password I get this message "Account manager error: HTTP file not found" What am I doing wrong? |

A fundamental difference between WCG and any other BOINC projects is that is requires security and a certificate....typically port 443 needs to be open....proper BOINC version to use 5.4.11.
----------------------------------------As this Q&A can be shortened quite a bit tell is: OS + SP level BOINC Firewall Antivir Router Proxy DEP (if WOS XP SP2 or Win 2003) include any version numbers and anything else u think relevant that could impede a secure communication. ciao

WCG doesn't fully support Account Managers yet. You will have to create an account on this website first, then you will be able to connect.
