Re: Backup

If you are reinstalling a new copy of windows you may have to reinstall The WCG program from scratch

If you backup the WCG Program and restore it there will be no registery entries for it so it will probably not run correctly

Unless you know how to save all the registery entries and insert them in the right place after you do your new install of windows

You may be able to restore your backup of WGC and then install it over the top of itself and retain your current work unit, but i cannot guarantee this will work

This may be a trial and error effort to save your current Work Unit

I am sure that there is a More Tech minded person who can shed more light on this problem

Best of luck

Hi Daniele

I know you didn't ask for this answer but it seems that it might be easier to wait till it's finished with the W/U.
Next Format the drive.
Then reinstall the agent with the exact (caps and all) same
Member and device names.
Just a thought.
