Here's an interesting observation I thought I'd share:
I only get the "Unable to connect..." error when I enter my username and password correctly. If I enter that info incorrectly, I see a message that says "The username or password that you have provided does not match the one in our records." That, to me, says that it is hitting the server. |

To me, that says the initial authentication is succeeding, then the encrypted file download is failing - blocked by your firewall or security software. Try enabling logging in Norton (or get a better security program - Norton is unprintably bad!)
