need help for project change

Hi
I have WCG installed on 12 of my machines. Wen I Installed it, it was for all the 3 projects but then I changed the settings and want my machines to work only for the Human Proteome Folding project - Phase 2 which is active. However even after changing the settings and restarting the machines my client only works for FightAids project? So please guide me as to how to change the settings.
Thanks
Parinda

Just guessing but I believe that your settings are correct. To the best of my knowledge the Human Proteome Folding (HPF) - phase 2 project has little work units right now. To stop your systems from going to sleep and then freezing it's best to also compute work for the other needed projects.
If you go to BOINC AGENT SUPPORT forum and look at my post " Re: Continuous Network Sys Freeze" you'll see the problem I had (using MS XP)because of no work units for HPF-P2.
"The reason you're not getting any work is you don't have enough projects enabled.
There is a new option in your preferences that allows you to receive work from any project if none is available for your selected projects.

I suggest you enable this option."

I did and my sys stopped freezing. When HPF gets underway again I believe you'll get work as I also will.
Hope this helps

Paul T, this was the 5th copy of NCSU's identical post, he missed to delete....but its valid, BOINC with 'alternate work' option would keep your puter working....his do, running FAAH.

ciao
