I have seen some comments in the BAM fora, but can't find any here. I really would like WCG to be more integrated into the BOINC world. In particular, I would like to be able to control it through BAM, as all my other projects are controlled.

To be honest with you, I'm not 100% sure which parts of BAM are supported by WCG, and which are not.
I can tell you that there are technical reasons that will make certain parts of BAM tricky for WCG. I can also tell you (this is my own opinion, no more) that BAM has some serious weaknesses as currently designed. It relies on PHP pages in the standard BOINC package, which is a silly way of doing anything. |

Think BAM is also referred to as AMS. Presently WCG only provides 'read' functions and is one of 3 out of 30+ Projects that use BOINC and not yet having fully adopted the Account Management System of BOINC.

Well, technically BAM! is a specific account manager. There are others, and the system is sometimes called AMS.

Yep. I saw that and the notice on the BAM site about WCG only supporting read only. So, how do I get BAM to update the new team that I have assigned to WCG? Of course, it is getting all the stats sent to it by WCG, but it gets no reply when interrogating WCG. Thus, the new team is getting my credits, and the BOINCStats are getting my credits for the team and showing them correctly. It just means that in the BAM database itself, the old team is still being shown for WCG. I don't know any way of forcing WCG to update the BAM database, nor do I know any way of updating its entry for WCG. George -------

Fear that points scored with old team will remain with old team....lest there is a trick to merge team scores in BOINCstats....think there is.
