This question probably has been asked several times, but I can't find it anywhere on the forum, so I'm just going to ask it anyway...
Everybody here is talking about checkpoints and that they're large and so on, but how do you know when you passed a checkpoint? Can you read it in your agent somewhere? My work unit crossed the 50% line and I would really like to close down my computer (not hibernate, because I did that several times and I would like to start with a "clean" computer tomorrow), but I don't know whether I have to start at 0% again tomorrow... |

Hello Marielle,
The FightAIDS@Home graphic shows each checkpoint. Whenever the green line reaches the right edge and starts over, a new check point is written. After the first check point is written, a red line is drawn on the screen. I have suggested that we add a line on the graphic that shows the time when the last check point was written. HDC writes very large check points quite often. It is very different from FAAH. Lawrence |
