HDC units expire in one week?

Hello! I have been seeing hdc run for some time now. I am getting the impression that hdc units expire after one week of wall-clock time. I am using UD monitor, and I usually have a bit more than a week's worth of work downloaded, and hdc units often appear to expire. It this the case?

Re: HDC units expire in one week?

The UD deadlines are a lot more tolerant than BOINC. Still, it isn't polite to queue more work than you need, since the work unit will be sent out to someone else and your effort wasted.

Remember, UD Monitor is not officially supported, and there is no way of tracking the deadlines and status of a particular result. If you need to queue work, I suggest you migrate to BOINC.
