If I choose to look at my statistics I noticed that when I go to "My Grid" then look under "Device Installations" it will show the date my machines each last uploaded yet when I then click on a specific machine the date displayed does not match the one shown in the other area.
----------------------------------------What gives? I thought I had one unit down as it said the last upload was on the 12th but when I looked in the other area it says the last upload was on the 15th so naturally it's still running. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 3 times, last edit by SPEZI at Aug 16, 2006 3:00:38 PM] |

??? My Grid - Device Manager - Device Statistics. Is that what you call "Device Installations"? My Grid - Device Manager just shows a list of devices and when they were installed. puzzled, Lawrence |

Hello SPEZI, ??? My Grid - Device Manager - Device Statistics. Is that what you call "Device Installations"? My Grid - Device Manager just shows a list of devices and when they were installed. puzzled, Lawrence Click on "My Grid" at the top then in the page that opens about halfway down the page is an entry called "device installations" which if you click on it takes you to another page that lists all your machines and in another column all the dates that each machine last returned a result. On that same page if you click on one of the individual device names it takes you to another page that shows the results returned history for just that device. In my case what I notice is that on the one page it shows one of mine as returning the last result on the 12th but if you click on that device entry the page that shows its history says it last uploaded on the 15th so I'm wondering why the disparity? |

Hello SPEZI,
The page you go to using My Grid - Device Installations is the same page as My Grid - Device Manager - Device Statistics. I suspect that you are clicking on a BOINC device. The Results page that you go to from clicking on a particular device lists Validated Results. It was originally created for the UD client, which awards points immediately and only later validates the results, hiding that process from the user. The Device Statistics gives the time a work unit is returned to be listed on the My Grid - Device Manager - Results Status page. Does your Results Status page list any results validated since the 12th for that device? Lawrence |
