Hi,
I'm going to set up the software but I would like to know how send statistics ? It was 1 hour that my computer turn on and I saw that none informations were sent to the siteweb. Is it necessary to have a proxy ? Thanks for your help. See you soon |

Welcome Boubou,
Did you install the UD agent or the BOINC agent? It is not necessary to have a proxy. |

I install the BOINC agent.
Can you explain me the different point : Why Total run time is 0 years 0 days 0 h 0 m 0 s ? Why execution times and connection times is Anytime. How can I have Claimed/ Granted BOINC Credit and Accumulated Points ? Thanks again |

You need to attach your BOINC agent to World Community Grid.
Once you have done that and started crunching, it will take a little while after sending back your first result before the statistics show on the website. |

Yes, I will try to explain. What language do you speak? Maybe there is a team here that speaks your language.
Total run time is 0 because you have not processed a work unit yet. After you install BOINC you must Attach BOINC to the WCG. Then you must login to the WCG website and select which projects you want to work on. Then BOINC will download work for your computer. It may take 4 hours or more to process 1 work unit. Then BOINC will upload the result to the WCG website. Then your result will be compared with the results from 2 other computers. If the results match then your Run Time will increase and you will receive points too. Execution times and connection time is Anytime but you can choose days when BOINC will not do work. Anytime means always. You will have Claimed BOINC credit after you process a work unit. It may take several days for your statistics to start changing but after that they will increase every day. |
