 I'd, uh, like to thank the academy, and, uh ...  I'm just happy to be in a position to authorize the use of the unused processor cycles of my work's renderfarm, which is a big ol' stack of fast dual processor systems designed for crunching through 3D animation frames so the artists are kept busy clicking and not twiddling their thumbs waiting for results.  For the curious, Dave put a picture I sent him of half of the renderfarm (15 of the 30 machines) on the Number Crunchers page on the MOT website at: http://82.163.156.92/myonlineteam/numbercrunchers.htm Happy crunching, everyone!  |
