every couple of days I come back to my linux servers and check top. Everytime I have notice that the boinc client has dropped off using up the CPU usage. So what I have been doing is ./pkill boinc and then restarted it and then everything goes back to normal. Is there any reason why boinc dies after so long. I believe it is still running but it isn't running 100% of the CPU. Then I kill it and then start is again and wala back to 100%.

While this is probably linked to the bugs in the Rosetta code, we don't really have enough information to go on.
You could temporarily remove HPF2 from your list of projects until the issues are resolved, or you could look into it further. |

Aside the HPF2 freezing, we're assuming you're on the latest recommended/official BOINC for Linux version 5.4.9!
