That's an odd name for a cowboy's horse. A cowboy trains his horse to be fearless around cattle and dodge obstacles. Out here on the prairie it's wide open spaces and wild roaming places, not many obstacles to leap over. When we want to ride something that jumps we usually just get a kangaroo.
