Agent was working fine yesterday, having downloaded new
Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 task. Today when I started my PC current progress reflected 0.00% and does not restart the task. What do I do - do I have to reload the grid software? Thanks |

Please will you tell us a few things?
Is the agent actually paused (it will say so if it is) or is it simply not getting anywhere with the work unit? If the work unit didn't get to a checkpoint before you shut your computer down, then it would go back to 0% when you started it again. This is normal, some work units take up to an hour before checkpointing. Please will you tell us what you see on the graphics screen as well? However, we have had a few problems with work units not progressing. Please will you persevere with this work unit, and also tell us your device ID so that the grid techs can take a look? Finally, can you tell us the time (in UTC or local time + time zone) when you downloaded this work unit? Summary: Device ID Time Graphics screen Thank you. |

Device Name MS-43E95251FF94 Device ID 250687 Time 07/03/2006 07:11:37 UTC Agent not getting anywhere with the work unit Graphics screen Left "Score" each of the three blocks reflect ------ and "Current progress" reflects 0.0% Right "Current Protein" Same graphic moves around very slowley. Does not change Thanks |

Thank you, that's most excellent feedback.
Since it has been going longer than 24 hours (I assume continuously) without any progress, then you should feel free to abort it. Use Task Manager to kill the Rosetta application, and it will download a new workunit. |
