Re: why teams?

It's a way for like-minded people to get together and engage in a little friendly competition.

It's entirely optional, but teams do help motivate us to keep improving and growing the grid.

Re: why teams?

Why not? There is no points penalty, and individual points are added to team points for another view of things.

Re: why teams?

Question has been answered, but is more appropriate for the Chat Room.

Why join a team?
Good question, and many of us will give you the best answers.
Teams provide tech support if you got a problem.
Provide friendly competition amongst each other.
Friendly team competition.
A great way to meet people from other parts of the world.
Provide a smaller community linking us to the world community.
A chance to meet some great people.
Keep you updated on the latest news.
And the list I'm sure can go on and on.

Scratched the remaining hairs on the back of my head, 2 left, 1 right, 1 swung all the way to the forehead as to why a 'team' related discussion was moved from the team section to the chat section........i know, the power of a WCG moderator not appreciating x-room x-team genuine fun.

Why teams: Gives identify and adoption! Same as i'm living under Italian flag cool , but crunching with Dutch Power cow cow cow .....one day they will rule the waves (again), as in the 17th century dancing
