You will see this 'earliest deadline.....overcommitted...no work fetch' stuff e.g. if BOINC decides that you got too much on your plate.......possibly John Webb, you've been suspending WU's to prioritize manually, rather than making BOINC do the ordered processing. It would fetch work on the basis of your profile settings on active WU's awaiting processing. Then when you release these suspended WU's, suddenly you got too much. Too Much can also occur when your BOINC was off altogether for a while and a few more conditions......have a look at BOINC Wiki....lots of good stuff for the 'do it yourself' helper.
----------------------------------------BOINC Wiki Earliest Deadline it's no sigar, but close ![]() PS....dont see in your log other projects from einstein, seti and the like. They would go into the sum determining what goes first. PPS, you and muckshifter put lots of useful verbiage in your posts.....sunstroke maybe, that prevented you to throw more than just a subject title, so next time i wont be performing the 'guess what you want' on Sunday afternoon ![]() elephant skinned and the memory of one!

I got some of the overcommitted observations after I aborted some of the old HPF2 5.06 workunits. I only had one workunit in the system at a time for three days. Even resetting the project didn't clear it. After I downloaded a workunit from some OTHER project, worldcommunitygrid decided that it should send me more than one workunit and loaded up the queue again.

Retsof, thought i saw your name in the threads regarding cancelling WU's which creates an 'error' report status in your WU log @ WCG. Then you're being receipt-restricted (2 i think knreed wrote), until you turn in a valid unit again.....but maybe you meant somethign else...

Problem solved ...
Sorry I had to log-in using MJW's profile ... was the easiest way I know of in posting the Log. Oh, and the answer to the problem is in the question. A Mod may close this thread if you please. ![]() |

Well guys i know of 1 running on this forum with 2 ID's, but 1 as 'the late MJW' i could not have fathomed.
----------------------------------------Cancer like AIDS in a way is a 'modern' times expanding decease, accilerated by behaviour, diet, environment.....e.g. they knew Olive Oil used abundently in the Med, had something to it like Red wine versus white wine. Now they discovered it's actually functioning as break on inflamations....something perpetually irritated can turn into the big C. Good for you these selfconversations that allow you to put the A in the Q...superfluoices the call for help Take care and crunch like no tomorrow.
