Thanks from me as well Kevin
---------------------------------------- As this relates to Boinc problems with the new HPF2 project as opposed to the UD Agent - where this is currently - is it possible to post this more prominantly, perhaps in the HPF2 section to get more coverage? *EDIT: Sorry for the edits, my typing is awful!* [Edit 3 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 27, 2006 6:09:08 PM] |

Phil - the explanation for your error is in the post by knreed above - it is being fixed as we speak, and in a few days hopefully you won't get this error again

We have released a new version of the hpf2 binary for Windows and Linux. Read more about it here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=7744

Great, forced the download of a new ZAxxxx in BOINC 5.4.9, the last part having a size of 11.19mb and released all the HPF2 in queue....mounting the hoss again and riding off jumping the gun.....dang, my boots are still at the coral.
----------------------------------------Errata: Came to grab my boots....See in the projects directory following 2 HPF2 sciences: wcg_hpf2_rosetta_5.06_windows_intelx86 wcg_hpf2_rosetta_5.07_windows_intelx86 My BOINC queue still holds ZA's that downloaded pre-5.07 and 2 post-5.07. Question is, will the 'pre' use the new science or the old science?

My BOINC queue still holds ZA's that downloaded pre-5.07 and 2 post-5.07. Question is, will the 'pre' use the new science or the old science? The work units are independent of the science app. They're just data, so they will work just fine with the new 5.07 code.

okay, thanks....have deleted 5.06 in case some setting did not pick-up that 5.07 should be used. Probably BOINC will tell me if it discovers anything awry.
