Sparc Linux Platform

I've seen a bunch of other posts about Solaris and MacOS, but I've recently built the BOINC client on my Gentoo Linux box (a Sun Ultra 60), and am getting the following message in the scheduler reply xml files for both climateprediction and worldcommunitygrid:

platform 'sparc-unknown-linux-gnu' not found

Does this need to be set up at the server end? Surely it can run the same models as per Sparc Solaris?

Cheers,

Sean.

Re: Sparc Linux Platform

Hi silver_surfer,
We do not have any work units specialized for a SPARC or Solaris platform.
