Points, what do they mean?
Ok, getting points seems to be the 2nd highest priority here next to helping find cures for diseases. What do the points actually do for me?
I mean, are they like frequent flyer miles where i can turn them in for a WCG hat or something?

I think the points system was introduced to the program to create a spirit of competition between all participants and gives you a goal
A good motivator I would say

Ok, but what IS the goal? Just to have more points than the next guy??? That seems kinda stupid. I don't care if i have more/less points than someone else. I am running this app just to know that I am helping in some way. Let me know if we get a free hat or something with accumulation of 100000 points :-)

I was kidding about the hat, trying to be funny. That's the problem with forums and email, you can't tell the persons tone of "voice".

I want a hat too dancing It would be great if there was some trivial "Prize" for getting to some level of points. Heck, I would be happy with a sticker.
