It appears the team founder of The Final Front Ear has gone AWOL
I have been trying to contact him for the past few months without success and his account with the team appears dormant. Is there any way for Admin to transfer team founder details s I can access team info so I can update our webpage? ( Although I've set up the majority of TFFE teams, this one was originally set up by Sam Lapp, then the team founder mantle was past on to Slartibartfast.) Any suggestions would be welcome. |

I don't think that there is. All you could do is to start another team and have the contactable members jump ship and move over to the new one. All team totals would remain with the old team, and the new team would be starting from 0.
----------------------------------------Does it matter? The team captain can't really do a whole lot.

This has been done in the past. Use "Contact Us" to put in a request to change the team captain.
WCG will attempt to contact the captain using the email on file, and if he doesn't respond, you will get the captaincy. |

This has been done in the past. Use "Contact Us" to put in a request to change the team captain. Exactly. The Gay US team did this not long ago. Our "founder" stopped returning results in July 2005. CKizer used the "Contact Us" link and the Lords of WCG sent an email to him. After a reasonable time of no response, we passed the team captain position to another team, Boy. I don't think there was a "proceedure" for doing this, but it can be done. Good luck! - j |

That's encouraging. This team's captain was gone for several months, and WCG had no alternative plans after inquiring for several weeks.
