That's a good strategy.
If it doesn't work, and you do want to contact the WCG then use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of all the pages on the main site. The titles.... yes, the titles. They mean nothing. They are based not on points, but the number of posts you have made (except for the official titles: Admins, Grid Techs, Project Scientists and Community Advisors). It's a common confusion. Better than it was, though: people with low post counts used to be tagged "stranger". Glad UF could help. I remember that cartoon - some of the discussion made me wonder whether the last time my computer expired was entirely due to natural causes. Had to physically rebuild it. I'm not allowed to recruit for my team in the support forum.... *nod* *wink* |

random9q - in order to make sure that your CPID syncs accross projects, you need to make sure that your email address is lower case. I just looked you up and yours is in all upper case.

Thanks for checking and advising. I'll do that.
Just FYI, when I'd entered the address client-side and attached, it had been all lower case. Think you might have an import filter which converted it to upper-case when I attached? Just wondering. Might make a difference in odd cases like mine. |
