If there was one molecule that was doing especially well then I think it would be nice if you could post the graphic version of it as we see it on our screens when doing the crunching. It'd be interesting for us to see what is called a very good candidate.

Hi tangra,
As these articles show, there is some research going on developing HIV integrase inhibitors. So far, I have not heard of any distributed computer projects on this matter. http://www.sciencedaily.com/upi/index.php?fee...seinhibitors-analysis.xml http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/01/060115180138.htm http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2005/12/051222083007.htm http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/08/040817081357.htm http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2005/11/051128010951.htm http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2000/06/000625232635.htm Lawrence |

Find-A-Drug (DC project closed as of November 05) targeted HIV-Integrase, along with a few other HIV protein targets (HIV gp41, Deoxyhypusine Synthase, HIV gp120, Rab9 GTPase, and Nef protein).
Results here: http://www.find-a-drug.org/hiv-frame.html |

Thanks we45!
Too bad the project had to close. Seems that FA@H has taken on the challenge. |

Find-A-Drug closed because they had completed all the work they thought was practical. So, don't feel too bad about their end.
I don't know exactly how it differs from FAAH, but I think there is a major difference in terms of docking strategy. Anyone have more insight into the differences? |
