1 device, two profiles. How do I get rid of one?

I have multiple HDDs with multiple partitions and OS's. And I installed the client to one with very little space, and retracted that thought and moved it to a practically emptry drive with droves of gigabyes free. Only instead of just updating the profile on the same fscking machine, it created a second profile, identical to the first one, even in terms of spare HDD space.
Is there any way to get rid of the older one and to force the new one to update and look at my drive?

Welcome,

sign in to your account, go to your device manager -> device profiles -> reset all devices to a single profile. Select the profile you want to use and save your changes.

The client will update next time it connects to the server having completed the current task.

Hope this helps.

It doesn't seem to actually look at your hard drive to determine what number to use, but you can set the disk value in your profile, in the member area of the web page.

You can delete unecessary profiles, but if you deinstall the software and reinstall it, even on the same PC, then you have to create a new "device" and can't merge, delete or re-use the previous device. You can use the same name, but then you get two with the same name which can be confusing.
