We know the graphs in the agent are pretty basic line graphs.....the issue I have is that at bottom per the BOINC WIKI and manager help there should appear dates. I'm now running BOINC exactly a week and the graph shows: -7 -6 -5 -4 -3 -2 -1 0 at bottom even if window is maximised. Any ideas why dates dont show?

I'm guessing here... but the BOINC wiki and documentation refer to the developmental version of BOINC, not the stable release version.
Just another stupid inconsistency, I suppose. |

Hi Sekerob,
I think you have to sign up for the Developer list to keep track of this. I had a URL a while back for the development version 5.3.31 for Windows, but I just tried it and it is no longer valid. No telling just where they are, but some of the BOINC 5.3.x bug fixes came from Rosetta@home. There is a lot of development work going on in the background. Lawrence |

The change was made just after the last official release, so it will be visible in the next official release and in any current alpha or beta build.

They are up to 5.4.6 atm.
It is getting closer to general release. You can sign up for the alpha list on the main BOINC site. SOme good info on the lists (even if it's often over my computer challenged brain). Kathryn |

This is the link that'll allow you to get development versions of the BOINC agent. It will run on the World Community Grid.....BUT.....if you have issues it is a development issue and is not supported. To upgrade from 5.2.x, you'll want to exit BOINC completely (making sure everything is shutdown in your Taskmanager). Then just install this executable and it'll install over your old folder for BOINC. -Uplinger |

Herr Uplinger, just delivered first WU under 5.4.6, unglueckliger weisse Pending Validation, so great suspense.... I liked the 'Improved Performance' comment...lets see....Boinc was anyway turning into a 200% improvement over UD Agent (with some tweaks which made my 4 yr old machine start working in HT mode
---------------------------------------- ).The graphs are positively an improvement...missing still a daily barchart, cum the My Grid page Update 28.4.06 13:02......3 WU's delivered and validated....if this is a representative number, running smooth. Thanks a lot
