Strange date in "Member News [read only]"

Evening all, what's going on in the above mentioned forum?
The last post was: "Apr 14, 2006 4:55:56 PM by knreed". But IN the forum there's nothing to see.
Is there something wrong with my browser, or with the forum?

Just curious...
Thanks!

Says "Mar 30, 2006 2:32:53 PM by knreed" for me. Try refreshing?

Re: Strange date in "Member News [read only]"

Sorry about that - its the two server problem again.

The forums software package that we use was developed with the thought of being run on a single server. As a result it stores a lot of information in memory. We run it on two servers which means that periodically the information in the caches is incorrect for awhile.

I had put a message into that forum informing everyone that the stats were going to run for about twice the normal period today. I removed that message about an hour after the stats finished running becuase I didn't feel it was relevant anymore.

Sorry for the confusion.

Kevin
