oh no it doesn't work!

being more of a protein man myself, I am sadly disappointed to find out that for some reason, my machine only performs fightaids@home tests and never does anything with protein folding. yes, I did select both projects in my settings. when i tried selecting just proteome folding, my agent stopped doing anything at all :( my machine is very good, so it can't be the prob with sys reqs. what's up with that?

oh and sorry if this is the wrong forum. im not sure if it's the right place to post.

cheers.

Re: oh no it doesn't work!

Hi Anton Kuratnik,
This sort of support question should start by saying whether you are using the UD client or the BOINC client. We have separate forums for each. If it is the UD client, try clicking on My Grid - Device Manager and then on your profile. Does that show 'All Projects' selected? What sort of computer system do you have? Any computer that can run FAAH satisfies the minimum requirements for HPF. My Grid does not break down statistics by project. Are you sure you never draw a HPF work unit?

It's a UD client. Yes, as I said before, I have all projects selected. My computer is self built, top-of-the-line, and I'm pretty sure I've never seen my agent working on HPF, since I spend a lot of time on the comp and check up on it once in a while.

Re: oh no it doesn't work!

FightAIDS, being the newest project has, by far, the most work still to complete. Because of that, a majority of workunits sent to people are FightAIDS workunits, but you will still get HPF workunits.

If you just want to work on HPF workunits, you can set your profile settings to select only the HPF project.
