Blank Pop-Up error Message after installing WC Grid Client is back.

While installing WC Grid Client i got a problem with a blank-error message popping up and several other blank screen (and with blank i mean no tekst!) sad

So i started seaching this forum and found info about my exact problem here and here.
However i do not use McAfee or any other programs mentioned in the threads. crying

I use Norton AV 2005.

Does anyone have a clue? Or better yet, a solution?

But only McAfee 8.0 is known to cause the problem you describe.

I had hoped somebody would think of something. All that I can suggest is to try installing BOINC.

I got the same problem. I recently wiped my computer and reinstalled WCG today. I disabled mcAfee for it but it still went all blank. Not sure what to do for now.

Both you and Boogie should contact the techs using the "contact us" feature on the website.

Give them as many details as possible about your computer hardware, OS and all the other software you are running. Hopefully, the techs will get enough information to be able to track down the conflict.

Meanwhile, you can always switch to BOINC :-D
