I was just wondering if any of the people running BOINC on Windows XP systems have run across any minor glitches?
----------------------------------------I have a friend who says since installing it his 'mailwasher" program is acting strangely telling him he has no internet connection while he does. I didn't seem to notice much when I searched for known issues with BOINC. |

I've been running BOINC 24x7 on an XP box for over three months now. No problems. The thing I actually like about XP is that is is actually quite stable for an MS OS at least. Now if it was just secure

There is a known conflict between BOINC and some mail programs.
See http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=6328#51134 This will be cleared up on the next release. Lawrence |
