Hey Doc,
Took your test a little bit ago. Got them all correct. We used something similar to that when I was stationed in the Navy. Except it was in a small booklet. |

Thanks Jim, I appreciate your interest. Yes, I was in the Navy as well, they do more color vision testing than some other branches of the service because of the abundant uses of signal lights aboard ship. Yes, few color vision exams that are computer-based exist because of the difficulty in getting accurate colors out of computer monitors. Printed materials is the normal way these tests are given. Thanks again for testing it out! (By the way, I'm not a doctor. The "dr" portion of my username is just my first & middle initials, hehe.  ) |

It is possible I may try to bring some of them back on line using the BOINC client, as it may use less system resources, but I have not been able to get a chance to test that. Dan, it should be pretty easy to set BOINC up to only crunch off-shift simply by specifying the time range you do want in your BOINC profile. While you may not be able to crunch 24x7, 12X7 isn't that bad |
