Hey, My name is Rohan Williams and I am New to this sorth of thing. Well the reason why I signed up was to get a bit closer to attaining the goal of Immortality. Think it is not possible? Well listen to one of our laws; "Matter cannot be created nor be destroyed". It is just reactions happening in our bodies. Whether it be; Oxygenation, Radiation, Viruses, Bacterium, Fungi etc. attacking us; all are reactions. Our DNA most likely have a programmed lifespan and/or is incapable of a more efficent defence and repair caused by the above. Human DNA has shown to have many flaws, carrying various disease such a some types of cancer. On the positive side, we will be able to alter our genetic material and take out the bad while placing new DNA, which will give us infinite defence and regeneration capabilities. The matter which makes us up is already immortal. We are just not immortal on the Biological Level, which will definitely change. Still not convinced? Many Living Matter can regenerate body parts such as the lobster which have a limited capability and a worm which has full capability. You break off a lobster's claw and it regenerates it back, but limited; You chop a worm in 2 pieces and both pieces regenerate and become 2 seperate worms. There are other examples; such as the Tortise which have a much longer life span than humans, it can live for Centuries. Here is a website; I am currently a member there, it is free to join. Many scientists working in the Genetical Field post at Imminst.
