Unfortunately, WCG can't do anything about it. The UD client is proprietary, and United Devices don't seem to be showing any interest in improving or fixing it. :-(

Move to BOINC.... WCG will be continuing to support both, I understand.



BOINC is definitely the way to go with multi core CPU's.

I just switched one of mine over and it's production has doubled not to mention a hefty points increase as well.

Even the non multi core units I've tested perform better under BOINC and I like the service installation option far better than what UD offers.

UD's track record seems to be one of ignoring what those who donate their resources need and want ergo they've been on a downslide for quite a spell.

WCG seems to listen and that's exactly why we are here. :)
