I am running the project on 2 laptops: a Dell Precision M60, and an IBM Thinkpad T40.
After running the project for about 6 days on the IBM laptop the fan is now making very loud and peculiar noises. Thankfully the laptop is still under warranty and I just got a box from IBM to ship it back to them for repair. I think everyone should thank IBM for supporting this project, and for repairing my laptop. |

Good point about listening to your fan. I had to replace mine in 2002 when I got a new computer. After just a few months it started rattling (well, sounding strange) so I had it replaced. Don't ignore strange sounds from a fan.
