what to do....

hello
I need some help.:)I'm from germany and i should choose what i wiil do after school soon.
What I need to study after school, to be able to search for a medizine against HIV etc. Do i need to study pharmazy or medicin.

pharmacy - dispensing and selling medicine, knowledge of side effects.

In Great Britain, pharmacy = chemist.

In US, pharmacy = pharmacist
chemist = chemistry

You can probably take various paths to end up in molecular microbiology.

You could take a first degree in medicine, pharmacology (not pharmacy) or microbiology -- or even chemistry or computer science. Then you can start to specialise in the particular field that interests you.
