More Newbe Questions: Registration via BOINC

I had a WCG account so all i had to do was add my User Name etc and Project URL and I seemed to be off and running, but for those whom have not registered with WCG in the past the question is and do not have a BOINC Accout ID:

Is there a how-too for getting your account setup strictly using BOINC and without using the the United Devices GUI?

Our second plan is to set up a generic BOINC Account ID <user> for those who dont want or cannot deal with the pain of registration, yet still want to contribute to team via BOINC.

New users need only visit http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/reg/viewRegister.do to register and be able to utilze either BOINC on Windows or BOINC on Linux.
