I just installed the Grid Agent for the first time.
Windows XP Prof SP2 - first I get a MSG box with a yellow symbol and no text anywhere. - then the prompt to create a userid. all button caption are missing. it created the userid. - then another empty msg box. - after restarting teh PC and manually starting UD.exe, I get the eroor message: Error loading Grid Agent. Error Number: 326. MSG: Resource with identifier '103' not found When I click on ok, the UserAgent dies. Any Idea. I already removed and re-installed. Cheers, Andre |

----------------------------------------This sounds like it is a problem that we have seen with the United Devices agent at first that has also proven to be a problem with BOINC as well. The problem appears to be McAfee VirusScan 8.0 with overflow protection enabled. If you disable the overflow protection, the problem appears to be corrected. There are several discussions regarding this. The one in which disabling the overflow protection is discussed can be found here.
