O well. I set up a meeting with the person in charge of my school's computers and I gave him some information and he flat out said no. He is too afraid that something may happen to the school's computers and that they are far too important to be taking any chances. Well at least I tried. In the mean time I got my freinds to join up.

Sorry to hear you found him to be so close minded. Unfortunately, this happens far too often. Some of the time it is because people don't want to be bothered. Other times, I think that the management above individuals responsible for administration of the equipment and software have threatened peoples jobs if anything happens as the result of their work that would introduce a virus or worm into the environment. It's unfortunate, but it is often the way it is.
Thanks for trying, and even more thanks for the recruiting. |
